Moving to TerraMagnus

As I’d mentioned previously, I’m consolidating my personal blogging down to one place. I couldn’t really get the flexibility I wanted with wordpress.com, so I’ve been spending some time exploring my options.

Going forward, find me at TerraMagnus.

      1. I’ve blogged on WordPress since 2002 (over 4500 posts). I find that most of the complaints about the platform are not about the platform at all but all the junky plugins people install. Keep plugins to a minimum and the platform is great.

I know all the cool kids are using static site generators (Jekyll, Hugo, etc.) but I find issues with those platforms as well (comments, scalability, etc.). I tried moving the 4500+ WordPress posts to Jekyll. Jekyll choked on import. Same with Grav.
